Mark is an experienced litigator and counselor who has handled a variety of lawsuits, administrative actions and pre-litigation matters. Mark began his legal career by clerking for the Massachusetts Superior Court in Suffolk, Middlesex and Essex counties. After his clerkship, Mark practiced as a litigator for more than four years with Donovan Hatem LLP, focusing on professional liability defense, construction law, and employment law. The matters he has successfully handled include wrongful death lawsuits, wage and hour class actions, and negligence claims against design professionals. Before opening his own practice, Mark spent a year with a boutique employment law firm in Boston, assisting with claims concerning worker’s compensation, discrimination, and wage and hour compliance, in addition to counseling employers regarding policies and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.
Mark is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts, as well as before the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High School and Boston College. Mark graduated magna cum laude from New England School of Law in 2006, where he was the recipient of the Sandra Day O’Connor full merit scholarship and was an editor of the New England Law Review.
Mark has been an adjunct instructor of Legal Research and Writing at New England Law Boston since 2009, and has authored pieces for the New England Law Review and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education.
